The New RICS Condition Report

Edwin Lake Ltd have now started providing the new RICS Condition Report.

This is a concise report suitable for modern houses or flats. Like the RICS HomeBuyer Report all the main elements are covered each being given a condition rating of 1, 2 or 3.

The report includes a brief description of each element and a description of the condition. It excludes repair advice and does not include either a Valuation or Reinstatement Cost assessment although these can be provided as agreed extras.

The Condition Report is cheaper than a HomeBuyer Report and is the obvious choice if you are buying a modern house, if you need more information and reassurance than a simple Mortgage Valuation or if you are buying a property without a mortgage but want to have it checked by a professional Chartered Surveyor.

The Condition Report costs from £200 for property valued at less than £250,000. At the time of writing Edwin Lake Ltd are not VAT registered.
